1. My bank link says "Pending Approval."
Adding your bank to your profile is typically an instant process. Sometimes when linking, you may get a response where the bank linking status comes back as "Pending Approval". Please read below for help.
If you are linking a bank in a major currency,
- US Dollar (USD)
- Euro (EUR)
- Japanese Yen (JPY)
- British Pound (GBP)
- Swiss Franc (CHF)
- Canadian Dollar (CAD)
- Australian Dollar (AUD)
- New Zealand Dollar (NZD)
If you are linking a bank account holding a currency considered "exotic,"
- Norwegian Krone
- Polish Zloty
- Czech Koruna
- Hungarian Forint
- Russian Ruble
- Turkish Lira
- Chinese Yuan Renminbi
- Singaporean Dollar
- Hong Kong Dollar
- South Korean Won
- Thai Baht
- Malay Ringgit

If you did delete and re-link and it still says "Pending" after re-linking, don't worry. Please read the following.
The main reasons this happens:
1- You entered incorrect banking details.
Bank Details: Please carefully check the details you entered for your bank account. They are typically displayed on the bottom of your checks. See below for some examples. Please check that you entered the correct Acct # and Bank code #. Bank codes have different names in different countries. For example, in the UK, they are called SORT codes; in the US - routing codes; and in Australia - BSB codes. For bank codes help by country, click HERE
Name and Address: Also, make sure the address you entered matches the address and name on the bank you are linking. Don't put the address as someone else's that doesn't match your address on the bank you are linking.
Important: If you realize an error, delete the pending linked bank and start again.
2- You live in a country where additional bank restrictions apply.
Some countries have additional security requirements that require us to do some additional checks. This is designed to protect you from fraud. In this case, we may securely contact you and ask for some additional information in order to get the bank securely linked for you.
In this case please just be patient and wait until we contact you or the bank gets approved.
Note: If you see your pending bank has been deleted, it means you entered incorrect data and should re-try being careful to enter accurate data.
Make sure you entered the correct bank code.
Bank Code Guide
Bank codes have different names depending on which country your bank account is located. Below is a link to a list that will give you some guidance on which number to choose and how it is referred to in your country:
For US banks, make sure you use the correct routing code. These can vary between ACH and Wire. For the US, make sure you use the ACH routing code. If you are not sure, ask your bank.

2. My bank link says "Pending Verification."
This can happen if the linked bank has lost its connection. This typically happens when your bank changes its security requirements or existing secondary login security (known as MFA) has expired. Simply follow the instructions to re-verify your bank account. There are 2 methods to do this, depending on how you originally linked your bank account.
1- log in to your bank account to re-verify
2- Use the slower 2 micro deposits method.
